Stay With Me With Me In Seattle Book 9 edition by Kristen Proby Literature Fiction eBooks
I loved the With Me series and I am glad to see it extended. In this book we get Amelia, cousin of Jules & the Montgomery men, coming home to Seattle to get away from her I-thought-we-were-divorced-what-do-you-mean-you-are-contesting-it? not quite ex husband & to avoid being served a subpoena while waiting for him to also be served. She is a beauty vlogger and is a decent, friendly, kind person. She's honest with people, knows what her issues are and tries hard to work with them. She is anxious about her ex, swore off men & wants nothing to do with hottie neighbor, but as time passes she becomes less anxious & finds herself opening to himWyatt lives across the street from the place Amelia is living. He is an architect and has an ex wife who cheated on him. His brothers refer to her as Cruella but apart from a walk-on cameo, she as a person, plays no part in the story. She, as a trauma inflected on Wyatt, plays a big part of the story. Wyatt is a nice guy, literally the boy next door. He was sweet and funny and fell so easily in love with her.
Both these people come with baggage. Amelia had her emotional abusive ex, who was always trying to control her, flirted with other women & criticized her constantly, which makes her easily triggered by certain behavior on Wyatt's part. But Amelia uses her words & explains herself to Wyatt time & again when he trips over her baggage. Wyatt's ex cheated on him so that trigger is quick to be flipped on his part. He doesn't use his words very well. Amelia has discussions when something bothers her. Wyatt has monologues.
But here's the thing. The inevitable angst causing scene? I didn't buy it on Wyatt's part. Wyatt lost his shit over something that came across as so ridiculous to me because while we knew he had a cheating thing going on we didn't know that apparently he was so tripped by it that when he learns Amelia isn't actually fully divorced that he just couldn't cope. She tried to explain the 2 years they had been apart, the divorce that was final that turned out not to be, but all Wyatt can see is some poor schmuck of a husband, waiting at home for his beloved wife while she out banging Wyatt instead.
Not believable as a character action. Nothing he did or said up to that point gave any hint that this was his freak out line.
When he realized he was being over the top about a situation he refused to learn about and came around Amelia had some quite good points about how this relationship won't work this way and Wyatt has a lot of work to do to convince her.
I like this part. Most of the time I think one party gives in too easily.
We see the Montgomery clan in bits & pieces and it's nice to be able to catch up with them after 4 years (story time). There are a lot of them and it can be difficult to balance a new plot line & readers' interest in seeing old characters. I think Proby manged that quite well. There are A LOT of Montgomerys but they didn't overwhelm the story. I hope we get the stories of Amelia & Wyatt's siblings.
Overall it is a well told story, with great characters & I recommend it.

Stay With Me With Me In Seattle Book 9 edition by Kristen Proby Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I am soooo happy, as are ALL Proby fans, for more of the Seattle gang. New characters, mixed in with our old favs is the perfect concoction for this new series.
No surprise to me how quickly I got wrapped up in the story, from the prologue I was hooked. Already the dynamic of Wyatt and Amelia was rubbing off on me. And that is the chemistry I need to keep me flipping page after page.
I will NOT spoiler and tell who shows up from the old gang, but let’s just say I am thoroughly happy. The fact that Amelia is a Montgomery cousin totally rocks! Blue eyes for days!!!!
Once again, the writing has that flow. All the feels, the laughs…oh the laughs. From the beginning of the story, I was amused and already in love with Amelia and Wyatt!!!
I think I had a permanent smile on my face the entire time I read. By chapter 8 I was feeling tingles. At one point, I wanted to die a thousand deaths, b/c my heart was in my stomach. But that’s okay b/c Kristen helped me out with that later on. As she always does.
Aside from the insane chemistry they have throughout the book, the real winner in this book is the debut of NEW characters in Seattle, the Montgomery cousins, and the HOTTER than HOT Crawford brothers. Kristen always manages to create these people, and families that entertain first and foremost. It wouldn’t be a smash hit without the old crew. And for me, that was the icing on the cake.
I never wanted this story to end. And thankfully there are more stories to be told. The sexy time blew my mind…I want more. Give us more Kristen!!

I don’t know about you guys, but ever since author Kristen Proby announced Stay With Me, I have been absolutely giddy waiting to get it in my hands. As some of you know The With Me In Seattle Series is one of my all time favorites. Their is just something about the Montgomery family that just completely captivates me. So, to hear that there would be another book in this series, well my excitement was off the charts and the bar was set high. And I gotta say, Kristen Proby does not disappoint!
Stay With Me is a sweet and swoon-worthy romance and a fabulous addition to The With Me In Seattle Series. This book was like a breath of fresh air, yet it felt like I was coming home all at the same time.
Stay With Me follows the story of Amelia and Wyatt. Amelia wants nothing more to leave the past behind her, so when she’s told to stay out of the public eye for a while, she couldn’t be happier to return back home. Thanks to her cousin Jules, she has a place to stay. Someplace where she can just hide out, unwind and focus on her budding career. Everything seems to be on track until she meets the neighbor next door. He’s good-looking, successful and everything Amelia should be staying away from. But, when Amelia needs help, Wyatt is sure to come running. Soon enough, these neighbors become more. And just when Amelia is finally finding some happiness. The rug is about to be pulled out from under her. When Amelia’s past catches up to her, will Wyatt stick around?? There’s only one way to find out….
Stay With Me was everything that I could have asked for and then some. It was fun. It was sweet. It was oh so swoon-worthy and romantic. I laughed. I swooned. My heart ached. I was filled with so many emotions and just couldn’t get enough. I was hooked on Amelia and Wyatt instantly. I loved their connection and just how effortless things were between the two of them. Sure they both had their baggage and experienced some ups and downs, but for the most part, they made romance just look easy. Wyatt was everything you could want in a Kristen Proby hero. He was smart, loving, bossy and devoted. I loved when his caveman like tendencies would come out! And Amelia…. She was strong, independent and just wanted to be loved. Together, these two made such a great match. I loved watching them explore their feelings and seeing where things were going to go.
Stay With Me was the absolute perfect read to spend my day getting lost in. I felt like I was coming home and totally got lost in the characters and their story. Before I knew it, hours had passed and I was still glued to the pages. I couldn’t put it down. This story swept me off my feet and left me smiling like a fool. I loved everything about this story from beginning to end.
Stay With Me is a fabulous addition to The With Me In Seattle Series. I loved being a part of The Montgomery Clan again and can not wait to read more. Thank you so much, Kristen Proby for providing this fan with more from her favorite series.
